My brother Scott is home from his 13 months in Iraq! My parents went to the base to meet him, but it was too far away for me to go. Dad took pictures and Scott called me from my mom's phone. I promptly got off the phone and cried. Praise the Lord for keeping him during this time.

Yea! Praise God! Please tell Scott thank you for us for his service to our country, and thus, to us. :)
This post made me cry :) That is so awesome! They got great pictures of him. I'm so happy for you. What a wonderful blessing.
PS Did you get my email the other day?
I know - I was teary while I wrote it. No, Julie, I didn't get your email. Wanna try again?
Although I do not know your family, the photo of your Mom with her son...ok, I lost it!!! Crying like a baby down here in AsunciĆ³n!
How absolutely wonderful! And for your folks to be able to watch him come off the plane! I can't imagine how wonderful it must feel for your parents to have their son home, but I can truly understand the excitement and relief of having all those brave men back on US soil! I hope you'll have the chance to see Scott soon and give him a giant hug! I'm getting a little choked up thinking about the excitement we experience when Mike returned last time, and in anticipation of his return in a few months! I am so full of joy for Scott and your family! Praise God for his safe return!
What amazing news! Praise God for his safe return. And I will be thinking of him as he begins the process of readjustment.
I am rejoicing with you over your brother's safe return!
How awesome!
